May 7th 2025 SAWAC Importer Tasting McLaren Vale
2024 Twin Oaks Chardonnay – Unoaked dry style, vibrant stone fruits, citrus, fresh acidity with good line and length. Its lovely freshness will pair with many cuisines and spice, and to be shared with family and friends.
2024 St Brioc Fiano – This variety
originating from Southern Italy thrives in the Mediterranean climate of South
Australia and holds its natural acidity well. 25% Barrel ferment with 75% in
stainless steel. No adjustment, wild fermentation. Blended after 3 months giving
a wine with freshness to be drunk by itself, while having enough depth and
flavour to be enjoyed with an array of foods.
2025 Houdini Sangiovese Rosé – Made from grapes that are Certified Organic and Biodynamic. No adjustments, fermented in Stainless steel. Dry style, fresh, vibrant with great length and tension.
2019 La Grenouille Cabernet sauvignon – Estate grown, off our 70 year old vines. A barrel selection across several batches. A great example of how Cabernet thrives in the temperate climate of McLaren Vale. A wine with good varietal character and approachable tannin profile.
